Aiding Veterans with Brain Injuries

Traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) have been called this era’s signature war injury as the nation saw a significant spike in cases in 2011 and 2012 surrounding Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Veterans with TBIs face not only the symptoms of their injury but also all of the other difficulties that returning soldiers face, such as feelings of alienation or post-traumatic stress disorder.

TBIs in veterans may have been caused by other means such as traffic accidents, but this doesn’t make the injury any less invasive.

If you have chosen to serve those that have served our country CreateAbility’s solutions can be invaluable in TBI recovery and symptom management in their work or home environment.
